What is Botox®?

Botox® is prepared from botulin into a purified form. It relaxes facial muscles in order to reduce wrinkles

Are the results immediate?

It takes up to five days for the first results to show, and your appearance will continue to improve for up to fourteen days. The results will then last up to three months depending on the individual.

How long does the treatment take?

Obviously it depends how many areas you’re having treated. As a general rule, around 10 minutes per area.

Is it safe?

Yes – as long as treatment is carried out by a clinician. The amount of Botox® used per injection is extremely minimal and allergic reactions are very rare.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience some minor side effects – these are usually related to the injection site. They can include minor redness, swelling and bruising that will subside within a couple of hours.

How long should I wait between treatments?

Generally, you’ll need to allow at least 12 weeks between treatments.
